If you're one of the people on my e-mailing list, patiently waiting for another motorized clock to be made, my bad luck just became your good luck. A rather large plate of brass that I need to continue with "No.7" has been on back order for months, so I've had some time to step back from the marathon project, and create this piece - the twelfth addition to the quartz collection.

There may be more coming soon. The length of this unfortunate delay is unknown. This may prevent me from finishing "No.7" in time for the show this October as I'd planned, but I'm sure I'll be able to find a show or two willing to display it at a later date, so there's no need to rush things. I'm over 500 hours into it right now, and there's some visually interesting progress that I'll post soon. I'd planned on finishing the large 'fan like' shape before my next update, which would give the first peek at the full size of the piece, but that's what the backordered brass is for, so it will have to wait. This is torture for me by the way! I'm really anxious to see this thing full scale, hanging on the wall!
